The problem with having a digital camera is that you take so many photos it becomes a real pain in the ass to sift through all of them and then edit the ones you like. I took these back in September right after WOCS. Then that whole SERE thing got in the way and then another class had to be completed before I could finally sit down and take a close look at these.

Fire in the hole!We were working yet another detail as range safety personnel while company personnel qualified on the M-9 (9 mm Beretta). I brought my camera knowing we’d have “some” time on our hands. What I didn’t expect was that the Apache students would be training on the range right next door. With those 30 mm chain guns. This would have been the money shot had I a telephoto, but for the want of a hammer and blah blah blah… If you squint real hard you can see the expended shells falling. There’s a better shot of falling shells along with one or two fly bys over here.
